I wanted to continue practicing box making but was bored with making them for books, so I decided to branch out into toolboxes. 

It is very simple and bland from the outside…

…and flower-filled inside! 

I decided to take the opportunity to turn this project into my first display case, as well as a way to store and carry my spoke-shave.  

There is a nice juxtaposition between the hard, utilitarian, cast-iron spoke-shave and the light, flowery interior of its new home.
